We are excited to see the Amberfield project receiving full planning approval. A retiring couple approached us to design them a practical home with a dramatic twist. The property's garden and rural views beyond set the basis for a full height, thirty-two meter curved glass wall. Inside, the home is fully open to the curved wall allowing the glass building line to become the circulation zone for the home. We are presently working on construction drawings and aim to have the project on site early spring 2016.
We are nearing the end of our journey with this crisp, contemporary home in Keston. Sitting on the site of an old, dilapidated dwelling, this new family home has made our clients very happy people. we have very much enjoyed working on this project and the clients have been an absolute delight too. Across this project, we concentrated heavily on ensuring the detailing and materials were minimal and sharp, setting the traditional architectural form apart from other dwellings along the street. Inside however, the home assumes a soft palette of natural materials and light, open plan spaces.
Following closely behind our office move is our new website. The website will allow us to showcase our work as it progresses with our new mobile blog page. This will allow our existing clients, plus new clients to see the progress of projects as they realise.
Due to the expanding workload, we have had the enjoyment of locating new offices in which to grow. With over-sized, bespoke plywood desks, white hanging pendants and an ever growing research library, we are looking forward to spending some serious hours within the office across the next few years.
